We are now recruiting for Part-time Youth Support Workers.

Assistant Youth Support Worker posts - £13.17 to £14.32 (JNC 7-10)

Youth Support Worker (Senior) posts - £14.89 to £16.01 (JNC 11-13)

Starting salary is subject to qualifications and experience (pay award pending)

Fixed-Term contracts but opportunity to extend subject to funding.

Bradley Stoke Town Council are looking to appoint enthusiastic, motivated and imaginative individuals to join our small youth work team delivering youth work sessions in a variety of settings across Bradley Stoke.

Our youth work offer to young people (core age range 12 to 18), includes outreach, detached and building based youth work sessions and a Girls & Young Women’s group, as well as short term projects, events, festivals and one to one and small group work. The sessions take place in various locations across the local community.

You will work as part of a team, led by a professional youth worker, with the team’s aim being to actively engage young people and help facilitate developmental opportunities that offer safe spaces, participation in activities, fun, discussion, support and encourage young people to have their voices heard.

Posts include:

  • Youth Support Worker (Senior) - Detached/ Outreach work - 5.5hrs over 2 sessions.
  • Assistant Youth Support Worker/s - Detached/ Outreach work - 5.5hrs over 2 sessions.
  • Asst. Youth Support Worker - Girls & Young Women’s Project - 2.75hrs Tues evening.
  • Asst Youth Support Worker/s - Skatepark Youth Hub/ Jubilee - Tues/Thurs (and possibly Wed) afternoons/evenings (exact hours to be determined)

(NB more than one post can be applied for, and a more substantial role created (exact hours dependant on combination of posts). Also, there is scope for the Detached/ Outreach role to be increased subject to funding).

  • We are also interested in hearing from people who would like to join our Casual Cover Pool of Youth Support Workers or becoming Volunteers.

Interviews will be held week commencing Monday 8th December 2025.

The posts are subject to Enhanced DBS checks.
