Bio: I worked for the MOD for many years and qualified as a Management Accountant in 1978 under their own scheme. One of the highlights was when based in Bath I was finance manager for a multi- national project ie. Anglo/Dutch/Belgian/French which allowed me to travel frequently to The Hague, Amsterdam, Paris. Brussels, Toulon, and even Gibraltar. When I moved to Abbey Wood I also got to visit Eurofighter/Typhoon HQ in Munich several times. Now I am retired I occasionally hack round a golf course and am looking at ways of trying to get a little fitter.

Bio: I'm John Bradbury and I have lived in Bradley Stoke for over 17 years. My four children grew up here and were educated in Stoke Gifford and Winterbourne. Before being elected I was retired. I had previously worked for British Red Cross and before that worked self-employed for a number of years in the publishing sector specialising in the energy sector. Before that I had a career working for news organisations covering local government and other aspects of public life. I'm a keen cyclist – I completed the infamous Land's End to John O'Groats bike ride last summer - so cycling provision and cycling safety on the roads is important to me. So I'd like to see better road safety in the town, more respect for speed limits and for our environment and for one another; and I want to work to improve what we already have, using my dual roles as a Bradley Stoke Town Council member, and as a ward councillor for South Gloucestershire District Council.

Bio: It is an absolute honour to be elected the first Labour Mayor of Bradley Stoke. Being the first citizen of Bradley Stoke is something that really makes me proud of the town where I have lived for the past seven years. I was initially elected in March 2022 as a Labour Party Councillor for Bradley Stoke south ward. I am committed to working with all councillors to make our town a great place to live and work and am looking to represent all residents of Bradley Stoke with special interest in the BAME, LGBTQ+ and disabled members of the community and promise to always act in the best interest of the people of Bradley Stoke.

Bio: For over 9 years, I have had the pleasure of sitting on Bradley Stoke Town Council and serving you; our community. Being on the Council is something I enjoy a great deal, where I have a near-perfect attendance record for the 9 years, I have represented you on the Parish. I'm also your Cllr for Bradley Stoke South on South Gloucestershire Council, a new role for me that I'm plowing head first into. In my free time, I enjoy running and walking the dogs through the Three Brooks Local Nature Reserve, it keeps me active, and it is a great way to see what is happening around our town.

Bio: My wife and I first moved to Bradley Stoke back in 1987 and watched the town quickly grow. Fortunately, both our daughters and their families live in the town. I was first elected onto Bradley Stoke Town Council in 1992 so I know the ropes and how to get things done. I want the Town Council to listen to residents and act on their behalf to improve the wellbeing of everyone in the town. I am passionate about wanting to help people and to support the community as best I can. I also volunteer for the Police at Patchway Custody Suite where I go to talk to the detainees and make sure their welfare is being supported.
