A modest launch of the Bradley Stoke Town Council’s 30th Anniversary (pearl jubilee) celebrations with a community walk
BSTC - 31st March 2022
Bradley Stoke Town Council is commencing its 30th anniversary (pearl jubilee) celebrations on Friday, 1st of April 2022 at 6 pm with a circular walk/procession from Bradley Stoke Jubilee Centre (BS32 8HL) to Bradley Stoke Holy Trinity Church (BS32 0BD) through the Bradley Stoke Way and returning back from Holy Trinity Church to Jubilee Centre through Brook Way. This modest symbolic walk is in memory of the community procession in 1992 when Bradley Stoke Town Council was formed.
The first meeting of the Bradley Stoke Town Council was at the Holy Trinity Church Hall on the 1st of April 1992. Inspired by that, we will be walking through the memory lane, with the stories of the progress that Bradley Stoke had attained. Members of the first council will be sharing their memories in this session, and it will be an enlightening experience for many community members. The current Mayor of Bradley Stoke, Cllr Tom Aditya will launch the programme, supported by other councillors, staff members and stakeholders.
All councillors, staff members, stakeholders, and community members are invited to join. A number of programmes have been planned during this year-round celebration by the Town Council’s working group. We request your support and co-operation. Please join in for the community walk on the 1st of April 2022, Friday evening at 6 pm from the Jubilee Green. Please text Cllr Tom Aditya on 07852456253 or email cllr.tom.aditya@gmail.com, if you need any help.
