Bradley Stoke Town Council is pleased to announce that the Community Festival will be returning, with a full two day programme at the Jubilee Centre and other locations next year on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June 2024.

Councillor Dayley Lawrence, Mayor of Bradley Stoke said: “I am delighted that we will be having the full festival back again next year. It’s a wonderful celebration for Bradley Stoke and there will be so much going on that there will be something that appeals to everyone with it being a great opportunity for the community to come together.”

Councillor Natalie Field, Deputy Mayor of Bradley Stoke commented: “The festival will have so much happening and will be great fun for everyone including families with children, We’ve got several amazing bands and dance groups lined up and free rides in the Community Zone such as the Gladiator Duel, Wrecking Ball and Bungee Run. There will also be many different community stalls and activities planned, as well as other rides. Different food stalls and a bar will be there as well. There will also be the football tournament organised by Bradley Stoke Youth Football Club on the Saturday and the Bradley Stoke 10K organised by the Sole Sisters on the Sunday morning followed by The Brightwell Colour Run on the Sunday afternoon.”

Libby, from the Brightwell Centre, who has worked alongside the Council remarked “After such a successful Colour Run this year, we are excited to be holding the event again on the Sunday as part of the festival.”

Martin, from Bradley Stoke Youth Football Club commented “The Bradley Stoke Youth FC Football Festival will be running alongside the Bradley Stoke Town Annual Festival in June 2024. The Football Festival will again see a combination of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children experiencing fun based football matches in a round robin tournament on the 5v5 pitches at the Jubilee. We are expecting over 100 children to participate in the Festival with trophies, medals and goody bags being handed out to the children. There will be plenty of action, goal mouth scrambles, foul throws, free kicks, penalties and lots of boot laces being tied up by the referees. All makes for an exciting day.”

Bradley Stoke Radio commented “Great to know the festival is back on track for 2024.”

Sole Sisters Running Group commented: “Sole Sisters have confirmed that they will be hosting the Bradley Stoke 10k event in 2024 – for the 19th year! We hope that the event will be as successful as previous years and we know that many local residents participate. The event is an incredible amount of work for the Sole Sisters committee, but we do hope that we will be able to go live with the event in early 2024.

To enable the course to be as safe as possible, for runners and local residents, we need at least 70 marshal points around the course, so we will be sending out pleas to friends, families, groups and any other volunteers in due course. For more information please do not hesitate to contact us on info@solesistersrc.co.uk”
