New Leisure Equipment at Jubilee Green, Bradley Stoke Officially Opens

The much-anticipated new leisure equipment facility at Jubilee Green, located off Savages Wood in Bradley Stoke, was officially unveiled on 8 January. The grand opening, attended by local Councillors and staff from the Town Council, marks a significant enhancement to the area’s recreational amenities.
This state-of-the-art facility offers a diverse range of equipment designed to cater to a variety of fitness needs and abilities. Everyone, whether they are fitness enthusiasts, or not, can enjoy strength machines, bars and benches, and cardio equipment, including a bike, arm bike, and cross trainer, among other options. Visitors will also find QR codes on-site, enabling them to scan for more detailed information and workout guidance, alongside comprehensive information boards.
In addition to the cutting-edge features, the facility incorporates inclusive design elements, ensuring that individuals with accessibility needs can also make full use of the equipment. Users can further enhance their workout experience by downloading tailored exercise routines through the Kompan app.
The Mayor of Bradley Stoke, Natalie Field, expressed pride in the initiative, stating: “This new facility is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the well-being of our residents. It’s wonderful to see a space where everyone can come together and prioritise their health and fitness in such an inclusive environment.”
Speaking at the opening, the Deputy Town Clerk, Phil said: The introduction of gym-quality fitness equipment in Bradley Stoke represents a significant asset for our community. This initiative aims to combat mental health challenges and reduce social isolation, particularly in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. By providing residents with free access to top-notch fitness facilities, we strive to enhance their physical health and well-being, fostering a healthier and more connected community. Together, we can encourage active lifestyles and support one another on the journey towards improved mental and physical wellness.

The addition of this facility underscores Bradley Stoke’s commitment to promoting health and wellness within the community. To further encourage community engagement, we hope to run free taster sessions with a personal trainer soon, providing residents with guidance on how to maximise their workouts.
