Construction of a Road Hump - Brook Way, Bradley Stoke

NOTICE is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in exercise of the powers conferred by section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 (hereinafter called 'the Act') and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with section 90C(1) of the Act and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 (hereinafter called 'the Regulations') and in accordance with section 90C(2) of the Act intends to construct a road hump in the form of a speed table, centred at a point 32 metres north west of its junction with Hawkins Crescent.
The road hump will extend over the full width of the carriageway and be 8 metres in length and 75 millimetres in maximum height, subject to the tolerances permitted in the Regulations.
