Bradley Stoke Town Council is seeking a fixed term position – 10hrs per week (43 weeks per year – September to June) – Logistic & Admin Support Officer (Events).

Bradley Stoke Town Council is a busy Town Council based within South Gloucestershire and is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Events Assistant to support the planning, coordination and delivery of a range of Town Council events, including the Community Festival and Fireworks Display. Working closely with the Projects & Events Officer, you will assist with event planning, logistics, contractor and stakeholder liaison, and provide practical support during event delivery. The role requires flexibility, including attendance at evening and weekend events.

The successful candidate will provide a high standard of administrative support, maintaining event records, processing purchase orders and invoices, responding to enquiries, and assisting with the preparation of event documentation and reports. You will work with a variety of community groups, volunteers, suppliers and partners, helping to ensure that events are delivered efficiently and professionally.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys working with people and making things happen. You will support the Projects & Events Officer in ensuring events are delivered safely and in compliance with relevant legislation, Town Council policies and best practice, while helping to foster community engagement and participation across Bradley Stoke.

This is a fixed term position based upon 10 hours per week across 43 weeks (beginning of September through to end of June).

Hourly Rate: £12.85 - £13.26 per hour
NJC Scale 3 – 5 (dependent on experience)
