Adding Quiet Zones for Nature @ Three Brooks

Poster about the plan to create a Quiet Area for Skylarks within the Three Brooks Nature Reserve

South Gloucestershire Council - 13th October 2025

South Gloucestershire Council are planning to create a Quiet Area for Skylarks within the Three Brooks Nature Reserve.

This will be a fenced area where the grass is left long through Spring and Summer for the birds to build nests and rear young. Its important they aren’t disturbed.

This is to support rare and endangered birds like Skylarks, Blackcaps & Whitethroats to breed in the area, as they have been known to do in the past.

This work is being done in collaboration with the Three Brooks Conservation Group.

We appreciate your patience as the site changes to accommodate these new spaces.
