International Women's Day Celebration
The main event took place on Saturday 7th March 2026 in the new Spitfire Hangar at Brabazon. This inclusive International Women's Day celebration aimed to empower women and girls, particularly those under-represented in creative and male-dominated industries, building confidence, sparking inspiration, and offering practical skill-sharing to support personal development, wellbeing, and career progression. The event brought together local organisations, charities, professionals, and businesses that actively support women, creating opportunities to connect, learn, and share experiences. Attendees enjoyed dance performances, a fashion show celebrating famous women in culture, panel discussions, interactive activities, martial arts and exercise displays and much more. Bradley Stoke Town Council is proud to be involved with this truly collaborative event, which was funded by Bradley Stoke Town Council, Almondsbury Parish Council, Charlton Hayes Parish Council and Patchway Town Council.
