Local History Drop-In

In March 2023, the Town Council organised a Local History Drop In event which proved very popular with many residents visiting to have a look through our archives (press cuttings, photos etc.) dating from before Bradley Stoke was in existence. We are aiming to repeat the drop-in event this year prior to the Annual Town Meeting and we will have our archives on display once again.
This year, to expand the event, we have invited local groups and organisations to join us to celebrate the origins of their groups and organisations. It is hoped that they will loan us photos or articles from their early days which we can exhibit alongside our archives.
This year’s drop-in will be running from 4 – 7pm on Wednesday 7th May 2025 in the Oak Hall, Jubilee Centre and will precede the Annual Town Meeting which commences at 7pm.
