IWD 2025: Heritage Walk – Frenchay Village Museum

Kick off International Women’s Day celebrations! Join us for a museum visit, heritage walk around Frenchay, and a talk by Jane Duffus!
Morning – Museum & Exhibition
- 10:00 AM – Museum Opens - View the Red Dress and temporary exhibition
- 12:00 PM – Heritage Walk Begins - Guided walk around Frenchay, exploring historical points of interest with a guide. Includes a visit to the Unitarian Chapel.
Afternoon – Meeting House Activities
- 1:30 PM – Doors Open - Walkers arrive, tea and coffee available - Book signing and informal discussions.
- 2:00 – 2:30 PM – Talk Begins – Speaker: Jane Duffus – Talk: 'The Women Who Built Bristol'
Flexible Attendance Options
- Make a full day of it – Attend all three parts (please bring your own lunch to enjoy).
- Join for the Walk & Talk – Participate in the guided heritage walk.
- Museum Only – Drop by in the morning for the exhibition.
- Join the talk at Quaker Meeting House at 1:30pm – Enjoy Jane Duffus’s talk on her book: 'The Women Who Built Bristol'.
