Bradley Stoke Community Festival 2026

The Community Festival is a well-established annual event popular with local residents and the wider community.

The main event day for the festival was Saturday 6th June 2026, with the Sole Sisters 10K Run and the Skatepark Competition taking place on Sunday 7th June 2026.

Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions, it was not possible to hold the outdoor activities planned for Saturday, apart from the Bradley Stoke Youth FC football competition. However, we brought the Youth Zone indoors to the Oak Hall, where a fantastic range of activities kept the fun going, including caricatures, arts and crafts, festival glitter tattoos and board games.

Bradley Stoke Youth Football Club Event

The rain came down, but it didn't stop the players from giving it their all. On the top football pitch, Bradley Stoke Youth Football Club once again ran their Football Festival, which involved 102 children from Reception up to U13 girls age groups, as well as young women . All participants enjoyed playing matches on proper pitches with correct goals, in a fun and friendly environment where results didn't matter, just smiles, teamwork and good football.

The children played with enthusiasm and great spirit while parents watched on, cheering and appreciating the quality of play from every team. Everyone received a medal, and each team was awarded a cup. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor had the honour of presenting the medals to all participants and trophies to the different age groups. The weather may not have been ideal, but it certainly didn't dampen the mood.

Free Family Bike Check-ins at the Bradley Stoke Community Festival

The free bike check-in station proved to be a real hit, with a fantastic turnout and plenty of bikes benefiting from some expert attention on the day. Visitors were also able to find out more about the active travel improvements coming to Bradley Stoke.

Dr Bike was on hand (until 3.30pm) offering free bike safety checks, minor repairs and adjustments, and friendly advice from expert mechanics. The team were kept busy throughout, with a great number of bikes checked and repaired across the day.

Sunday 8th June 2025 - Jubilee Centre and Bradley Stoke Skatepark

The Jubilee Centre hosted the 10K Run and the ever-popular Skatepark Jam took place at Bradley Stoke Skatepark.

10K Run

The ever-popular Sole Sisters 10K Run started and finished at the Jubilee Centre, with infrastructure for the event provided by the Town Council, including toilets and fencing. Approximately 600 competitors took part, including two councillors, in ideal weather conditions. A very impressive winning time of just over 32 minutes was recorded on the day.

Bradley Stoke Skatepark Competition 2026

The Bradley Stoke Skatepark Competition on Sunday 7th June was a brilliant day out for riders and spectators alike. Held at Bradley Stoke Skatepark on Fiddlers Wood Lane, the event ran from 12.00pm to 4.00pm and welcomed skaters, scooter riders, BMX riders and roller skaters of all abilities in a friendly, buzzing atmosphere.

Kids and adults alike had an amazing time, with festival tattoos and a fantastic DJ keeping the energy high throughout the afternoon. Competitors across the Scooter, BMX, Skateboard and Roller Skate (quad and inline) categories showed off some seriously impressive skills, with prizes, medals and certificates awarded to the top three in each category.

A King Ramps halfpipe in the car park added an extra dimension to the day, drawing plenty of crowds and giving riders the chance to show what they could do. From first-timers to seasoned riders, everyone was made to feel welcome, and the smiles said it all.
