Julian Walker-Palin - 14th November 2006
Tesco are delighted to announce that SGC Development Control (West) Committee granted approval for the plans for a new town centre for Bradley Stoke at its meeting on Thursday, 9th November. However, due to the scale of the development the planning application has to be referred to the local Government Office, who have 21 days to review the application.
Tesco is very grateful to the people of Bradley Stoke for the overwhelming support they have given over recent years and are confident that this scheme, which has evolved through extensive public consultation and dialogue with both Bradley Stoke Town and South Gloucestershire Councils, will be a major benefit to the town and its residents. Subject to a favourable response from the Government Office, Tesco looks forward to starting on-site next year.
