BSTC - 21st May 2019

At Bradley Stoke Town Council’s Annual Town Council Meeting held on Wednesday 15th May 2019, Councillor Tom Aditya was appointed by the Council to the position of Mayor of Bradley Stoke.

Outgoing Mayor, Councillor Ben Randles, welcomed everyone to the meeting and explained that it was his pleasure, as his last action in the role of Mayor of the Town, to present cheques to the two recipients of the Mayor’s Charity Fund.

A total of £8,217.42 had been raised over the past year to be split between the MS Therapy Centre (£4,108.71 – 50%) and The Stroke Association (£4,108.71 – 50%). A representative of The Stroke Association attended the meeting and accepted their cheque.

Upon Councillor Tom Aditya’s appointment to the position of Mayor, he thanked all councillors for his nomination and placing their trust in him to hold the position; he then chaired the Meeting after signing the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

Councillor Tom Aditya has been a sitting councillor in Bradley Stoke since 2011 (currently representing the Bradley Stoke, South ward).
