Play equipment damaged by fire

Play equipment at the Bradley Stoke Town Council, Beacon Playscheme was damaged by fire on the evening of Thursday, 6th May 2021. Avon Fire & Rescue Service swiftly attended the site and extinguished the fire.
Damage has been identified on the cradle swing, the wet pour safety surface underneath, and a litter bin situated adjacent to the community shelter. An estimated value of the damage is in the region of £2,500 - £3,000.
Bradley Stoke Town Council works for the well-being of the community and to promote and develop the interests and diversity of this vibrant town. All our council amenities and facilities are for the use of the community.
We would like to thank council staff, firefighters and police officers for taking the right steps in this incident, and urge community members to help each other to keep up the good spirits of Bradley Stoke.
