Letter of Condolence from Bradley Stoke Town Council
BSTC - 12th April 2021
On behalf of the people of Bradley Stoke (South Gloucestershire), the Town Councillors and the Council staff members profoundly express our deepest condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family on the demise of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
The Duke had a distinguished service. Prince Philip was the longest-serving consort to a monarch in British history, our Queen's "strength and stay", the veteran of World War II, and the founder of the Duke of Edinburgh award, which helped the lives of many thousands of young people. Prince Philip was an advocate for the youth, volunteerism, environment, and wildlife conservation. He lived a life of duty and commitment representing the United Kingdom across the Commonwealth and around the world. Prince Philip will be profoundly missed.
Sir, may you rest in peace and rise in glory.
