Bradley Stoke Town Council is getting involved in the SGC Big Spring Clean

BSTC - 12th April 2010

After the success of our first event last year we will be having a tidy up on Friday 30 April, from 10.00am until 4.00pm. You can join in the fun by litter picking with us; or by arranging a group in your own street, we can help you with black bags, gloves and disposal of the full bags.

Volunteers should meet at one of our three Activity Centres - Baileys Court, Brook Way and the Bradley Stoke Jubilee Centre between 10am and 4pm, just come along when you can.

The Bradley Stoke Street Carers volunteer group, started by David Dace, the BSTC Mobile Cleaning Operative, will be helping out - keep an eye out also for their next Saturday morning Big Clean Up.

Cllr Mark Forsyth, Mayor of Bradley Stoke said "Since employing the MCO, the level of littering in Bradley Stoke has been greatly reduced. Not only has Dave Dace been working with local residents, he has also met with members of the business community who have also now started to ensure that the Business Park is a cleaner place to visit and work."
