NOTICE is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council proposes to make an order under sections 32, 33 and 35 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended the effect of which will be to:

a) set the car parking charge for Abbey Wood, Church View, Filton; Laburnum Road, Hanham; Bank Road, Boultons Road, Cecil Road, Kings Chase Shopping Centre, South Road, Kingswood; St James Street, Mangotsfield; The Parade, Patchway; Byron Place, Haynes Lane, Page Road/Kendall Road, Page Road, Staple Hill; Parkway North Park and Ride, Stoke Gifford; Castle Court, Rock Street, St Mary Street, Thornbury; Warmley Station, Warmley; Flaxpits Lane, Winterbourne; Kennedy Way, Leisure Centre South West and Leisure Centre South East, Yate car parks as set out in the Schedule to this notice;

b) set the stay length and return times across South Gloucestershire Council car parks. Each car park is subject to a maximum time period for which a vehicle may stay in a parking place. These are set out in the Schedule to this notice; and

c) revoke the South Gloucestershire Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2022 and the South Gloucestershire Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Kings Chase Shopping Centre Car Park) (Variation No. 1) Order 2023 in favour of the provisions specified in items a) and b) above.

Please note posted responses will only be accepted on the questionnaire provided and acknowledgements will not be sent. Please check that you:

1. Include reasons for any comments you make, for or against, the proposals

2. Send responses to the Monitoring Officer and Head of Legal, Governance and Democratic Services at the address below.

3. Quote reference L3/GMM/STOP/PT.8055 on all communications.

4. Send all responses by 19 December 2024.

5. Mark your response for the attention of Legal Services.
