Purpose for the Briefing

The briefing is a call-to-action and highlights the importance of rolling out the Zero Suicide Alliance Training. This is a focus of work across South Gloucestershire, Bristol and North Somerset with an ambition for ’10,000 professionals, community volunteers and members of the public to take the 20-minute zero suicide training during 2021’.

Suicide Prevention Summit – 16 June 2021 (10.00 – 13.30)

The aim of this event is to bring people together to reflect and build upon what has been achieved so far. The summit will explore some of the latest work happening nationally and locally into suicide prevention and hear from key speakers on how we can make progress towards a zero suicide region.
