Notice of Temporary Road Closures: Great Stoke Roundabout Area

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.
This order is required in connection with carriageway resurfacing works and will be operative from the 3 August 2020 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 4 weeks duration, being overnight works between 8pm and 6am.
Great Stoke Roundabout – all lengths
B4057 Winterbourne Road – which extends from Great Stoke Roundabout in an easterly direction for a distance of 210 metres
B4057 Winterbourne Road – which extends from Great Stoke Roundabout in a westerly direction for a distance of 575 metres
Great Stoke Way – which extends from Great Stoke Roundabout in a southerly direction for a distance of 250 metres
Bradley Stoke Way – which extends from Great Stoke Roundabout in a northerly direction for a distance of 200 metres
Alternative route: A4174 Ring Road, A4174 Station Road, A38 Gloucester Road North, A38 Gloucester Road, B4427 Church Road, B4059 Latteridge Road, B4058 Bristol Road and vice versa
