Temporary Road Closures: Bradley Stoke Way, Baileys Court Road, Webbs Wood Road and Roundabouts

(Bradley Stoke Way, Baileys Court Road, Webbs Wood Road and Roundabouts, Bradley Stoke) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.
This order is required for the following reason: in connection with CRSTS Active Travel Scheme works. The order will be operative from 20 October 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 months duration, between the hours of 8pm and 6am. Access will be maintained throughout, and it is anticipated that the whole length should not be closed at any one time, but in stages.
SCHEDULE
1. Bradley Stoke Way
that length which extends from its junction with The Worthys to its junction with Savages Wood Roundabout
2. Great Meadow Roundabout
the entire length
3. Webbs Wood Roundabout
the entire length
4. Baileys Court Road
that length which extends from its junction with Great Meadow Roundabout in a north easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres, and;
that length which extends from its junction with Great Meadow Roundabout in a south westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres
5. Webbs Wood Road
that length which extends from its junction with Webbs Wood Roundabout in a north easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres, and;
that length which extends from its junction with Webbs Wood Roundabout in a south westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres
Alternative routes (vice versa):
1, 2 and 3. Bradley Stoke Way (part unaffected), A38, B4057, Bradley Stoke Way (part unaffected)
4. Baileys Court Road (part unaffected), Webbs Wood Road
