Bradley Stoke Town Council Community Festival 2025

BSTC - 16th April 2025

The festival is taking place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June 2025 around the grounds of the Jubilee Centre, Savages Wood, Bradley Stoke, BS32 8HL and Bradley Stoke Skatepark, BS32 9BS.

Saturday 7 June

The main community festival day is on Saturday 7 June 11.30 am - 18.00 pm. The festival is being organised by Bradley Stoke Town Council who have, once again commissioned the company Re-energize to organise the event.

Natalie Field, Mayor of Bradley Stoke said: “We are delighted that a full Bradley Stoke Festival is taking place again this year leading on from the successful events which happened last year and the extremely positive feedback that we received about the festival.”

Dayley Lawrence, Deputy Mayor of Bradley Stoke said “It was great to see so many local people enjoying, having fun and participating in the festival last year and there being something for everyone at this year’s festival too.”

This year, the music is provided by a mix of local bands including; Longshots, Limited Edition, Sonic Sunrise, The Layers, V-Dubz, Zoom Club and the Saturday Night Bee Gees tribute band.

Local dance groups performing in between the bands are: Stoke Gifford School of Dance, Baby Ballet, 5678 Dance, Danceworks, Street Cred and Emma Kate Dance Academy.

Fun rides for the children include bungee trampolines, giant slides, football games, giant inflatables, plus a Wrecking Ball inflatable, Mash the Mole and Gladiator Duel in the “free to ride” Community Zone. Alongside will be the popular, young children’s, Go-Karts.

A tall mobile Climbing Wall will be set up alongside the local BS Scouts stalls which also features tomahawk throwing and junior archery plus a lot of other fun activities.

Over 40 stalls will feature a wide range of arts and crafts, from hair styling and colouring, face painting, to jewellery and accessories plus local services and associations, alongside sideshows and community stalls offering a wide range of local products and novelties.

Town Council youth workers and young people are once again organising 2 days of Skatepark skills and creative art activities. A skatepark half-pipe returns (courtesy of Kings Ramps) and offers exceptional demos, by top riders and skaters, plus, regular ‘have-a-go’ sessions. Also, the ever-popular street art ‘paint a board’ sessions supported by youth workers and young volunteers.

Bradley Stoke Youth Football Club will be running their Football Festival as normal, which will include many different age groups starting from Reception and upwards. This will involve small sided matches throughout the day with trophies being awarded to the winning teams and will take place on the top field football pitches starting from 12 noon.

Sunday 8 June

The 10K race organised by Sole Sisters starts at 09.30 a.m. and finishes at the Jubilee Centre.

At the skatepark, the Bradley Stoke youth work will host its festival competition with more pro-rider demos, ‘have-a-go’ opportunities and art workshops with Olas Arts (on old Vinyl records), 12 noon to 5.00pm.
