International Women's Day

International Women's Day

When: Thursday 11th March 2010 - 6.30pm–9.30pm

Where: Bradley Stoke community School, Fiddlers Wood Lane, BS32 9BS

A series of events have been organised for the International Women's Day celebration in Bradley Stoke. The celebrations will take place at the Bradley Stoke community School on Thursday 11th March 2010.

As last year we'll be putting on an international fashion show, involving pupils from the community school doing their own 'catwalk' as well.

Also, as last year we'll be running the Outstanding Women's Awards, which is now in its 2nd year. Once again, there will be some great prizes.

Additionally, we have added the Poetry and Photography competition under the theme 'a woman you know'. This is open to all residents of South Gloucestershire.

Both the poetry and photography competition as well as the Outstanding women's award is to show appreciation and acknowledgement of the role women play in our communities.
