Inter-Faith Day 2006 - In Bradley Stoke

The third Inter-Faith event organised by Southern Brooks Community partnership took place in the Jubilee Centre in Bradley Stoke on the 18th of November 2006. The theme of the day was the spiritual journeys in faith.

The faith in focus was Islam with contributions of display stalls from Jewish, Catholic and the Buddhist Faiths. It was a day for the whole family with performances of songs, poetry and inspirational stories and workshop throughout the jubilee centre including Mosaic workshop, Henna workshop and Story time with the Librarian.

Over 200 people attended and enjoyed the event. We are grateful to Bradley Stoke Town Council for hosting the event at Jubilee centre and hope that this will become an annual event. Feedback received from a former head teacher that - events like these help build community cohesion.
