Free Home Fire Safety Visits from Avon Fire and Rescue Service: help keep yourself and your loved ones safe from devastating home fires.

Community Fire Safety Volunteers want to speak to your community or support group and sign you and your members up for free Home Fire Safety Visits.

During a Home Fire Safety Visit, Fire Fighters do an individualised risk assessment of your home. They give advice about cooking, smoking and electricals, fit and test smoke alarms and provide free 10 year batteries and specialist safety equipment to people who are hard of hearing or bed-bound.

Fire Fighters are particularly keen to offer this service to people who may be more likely to encounter a fire, like older people, people with disabilities, people living alone and
