Braydon Avenue Road Closure & Diversion Route

South Gloucestershire Council - 12th February 2015

South Gloucestershire Council is about to commence construction of a raised speed table to replace the existing chicane priority narrowing on Braydon Avenue adjacent to the medical centre. The works are programmed for a 3 week duration from Monday 2nd March 2015.

To enable the construction to be undertaken safely, Braydon Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between the Concord Medical Centre and Silver Birch Close. The footbridge crossing point adjacent to the medical centre leading onto Braydon Avenue will also be shut to pedestrians. Please find attached diversion route plan.

The pedestrian footway along Braydon Avenue and access into the medical centre will not be affected by these works. However, during this period buses that normally use Braydon Avenue will be diverted via Little Stoke Lane.
