Have Your Say Ė Join South Gloucestershire Councilís Viewpoint Panel

South Gloucestershire Council - 11th July 2014

Get involved in local decisions that could affect the services you use and care about by joining our Viewpoint citizen panel.

Viewpoint is South Gloucestershire Councilís citizen panel, which is made up of residents who respond to surveys on a range of issues.

Our next survey in September will focus on libraries and cultural services, so this is your chance to influence the future of these services. Over the forthcoming year, we will also be seeking views on the councilís budget, health services, the environment, community safety and changes to council services.

The views we get from panel members provide the Council with valuable insights about residentsí opinions and ensure that those opinions are fed into the councilís decision-making processes.

Panel members will be sent a short online questionnaire up to six times a year. Survey participants will be entered into a prize draw for each survey they complete, to thank them for their contribution. Taking part in Viewpoint and its surveys is entirely voluntary, the research is confidential and the results will not be used to identify individuals.

If you are interested in being part of this important panel, please go to http://www.southglos.gov.uk/viewpointrecruitment to submit your details and register your interest.

For further details about the panel, please visit http://www.southglos.gov.uk/viewpoint.

If you know of anyone else who would like to get involved in this panel, please pass on this invite.

Should you have any queries about the Viewpoint Panel, please contact Julia Pountney on 01454-868408 or email: viewpoint@southglos.gov.uk.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Please note: The final participants will be selected to make sure that the panel remains balanced and reflects the population of the area. You need to be a resident of South Gloucestershire and aged 16 or over in order to become a member of the panel. Employees of South Gloucestershire Council and its Councillors are not able to be panel members.
