Playworkers are required to provide open access play opportunities for children aged 5-11 years. An energetic, motivated, enthusiastic individual, you will genuinely enjoy working, through play, with children.

PLAY LEADER – 4 Posts
PLAY WORKER–16 Posts

Temporary Position – 4 weeks - 10am-12pm and 1-3pm
Rates of Pay:- Play Leader - £8.28 per hour / Play Worker - £7.25 per hour

Based at various locations throughout South Glouceshire which will include Schools and Community Centres.

Playworkers are required to provide open access play opportunities for children aged 5-11 years. An energetic, motivated, enthusiastic individual, you will genuinely enjoy working, through play, with children. You will be required to deliver inclusive, innovative and challenging play opportunities throughout the programme, meeting the specific play needs of all participating children.

You will have experience in a play/leisure/sports environment working or volunteering with children aged 5-11 years old and have knowledge of play opportunities to stimulate and challenge children of varying ages.
Please only apply if you can commit to the duration of the playscheme programme (26th July – 20th August 2010) including compulsory training which takes place on 21st and 22nd July 2010, an allowance will be paid.

If however, you can only do a few dates then apply to join the bank of playscheme workers which is on an adhoc basis.
